I have been a Top Producer subscriber for 5 years and I wouldn’t trust any system other than Top Producer 8i to manage the 1400+ contacts in my database. Previously, I was a 7i user. Top Producer offers a number of support resources to get new users started and I have taken advantage of all of them. Their “15 minute rule” of taking 15 minutes a day to learn a new feature is such valuable advice that I keep coming back to. My advice to new 8i users is to block a little time regularly just to check out the amazing new features of 8i and don’t be afraid to test drive the features you do use. Employ the 15 minute rule anytime you’re not used to a process and you’ll be surprised how easy it really is!
My favorite features are the detailed contact records and ability to add information easily. The new drag and drop capability is fantastic and a great time saver when adding contacts to appointments and customizing flyers. I love the option of using Outlook for email and still connecting to my contact records. I’m in Hawaii and my Florida-based assistant Allie creates and sends flyers to my database seamlessly. I just send her the properties I want featured and she and 8i do the rest! I could go on and on.
Staying in touch with clients and following up is the biggest secret to success and is probably the weakest area in most agents’ business. I’ve been in the industry for over 20 years now and I can confidently say that I simply couldn’t do without 8i! I would certainly see a drop in referrals and revenue without it.
