So you've gone through the effort of building a great Web site and followed up by implementing an effective strategy to drive traffic. But how do you capture the most important information about the people who visit your site? Top Producer Websites are defaulted to let people click any link to acquire information on your site. However, you can choose to add customized forms to particular pages or reports that have to be filled out before visitors can access the information. These forms can be as simple as asking for their name, email and whether they are a buyer or seller, or they can be easily customized to request any information you deem important. Of course, the more details you request, the less likely it is that all fields will be filled out. For example, you can add a form that will pop up before you allow a visitor to view an online Community or School report. According to the NAR 2007 Member Profile, only 55% of Realtors with a web site provide school reports. That means that you may be providing information on your Web site that a competing agent does not. Once the form is filled out and submitted, your site will instantly allow your visitor to view the report. Best of all, their information is then sent directly to your Top Producer 8i account and a new contact record is created.
